I’ve been making a living at documenting and storytelling all my life. Right out of high school I enlisted in the Air Force, where I traveled the world as a photographer documenting anything and everything that was too classified for a civilian to capture and process. After that I went back to college and started working in advertising as an art director, telling the story of products. Over the years in Seattle I’ve worked on everything from Tree Top magazine ads to software design at Windows, and have taught design and photography along the way.

Through it all I’ve always been driven to touch people. To make them think. To question their assumptions. Maybe Tree Top actually does make better apple juice. Maybe Windows actually is better than Mac in some ways. Maybe homelessness can happen to you, too.

No? Come with me. I have some people for you to meet. They didn't think so either.

Help share this important insight into one of Seattle's, and the world's most difficult social challenges. Be credited in the film by making a charitable donation through Northwest Film Forum.
